This is a great cooktop so far and looks awesome in my kitchen. I've only had it installed for a week, but it works well. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it does seem to exude a bit more of a smell of gas when cooking than gas stoves I've used before. It might be because it takes a few more seconds for the middle burner to light. I'll have to try to use it without that burner to see, but it's my go-to burner for boiling water.

Nice Gas Cooktop

I'm enjoying my gas cooktop. Having 5 burners makes a big difference when you are cooking. My only issue is how easily it is to scratch the stainless surface. The stainless steel cleaning solution provided with the cooktop does little to help remove those fine scratch and the owner's manual doesn't address the best way to remove them.

This is a good product, it fires up instantly, the burners offer adequate heat. It looks great. The grills are very heavy and rough, so that the pans are not moving. This positive becomes negative when I need to clean the stove. The grills are very heavy and hard to manipulate because of the weight.

This is a a great stovetop, The middle burner is the largest... good for a griddle or wok. Plenty of heat when you need it. Simmers well too. The grates are heavy, but moveable. Looks very professional to me!

The instructions clearly show how to convert the regulator from gas to propane. There was absolutely nothing in the instructions on converting each gas burner to propane. It took a while to find out why it was not working properly.

After submitting a review expressing my dissatisfaction with a manufacturer defect, as the burner grates arrived with rust, Frigidaire asked me to contact them. I did and once again I was told that they would not help. The cited the warranty, which says rust is not covered, but the warranty also says it covers manufacturer defects. It is obvious that the language of the warranty refers to rust after consistent usage, not to rust out of the box.

Defective product - Useless Warranty

I am very dissatisfied with my purchase. I purchased this cooktop new from Home Depot. When I opened the box to install the cooktop, the grates already had rust on them and the coating was already cracking off revealing further rust. I contacted Home Depot since I bought it from them, and they said I should contact Frigidaire. I contacted Frigidaire and was told that this issue falls out of warranty, even though the cooktop is new, so it is obviously a defective product. Good luck with purchasing Frigidaire products.

This replaced our old LG (2015). These knobs are far superior and not plastic. It is easy to clean. The grates sit a bit higher than I am used to but it is not an issue. I am happy for the price.

Excellent cooking - no qualms about this. Cleaning is, well, tedious at best. While utilizing (recommended) a good stainless steel cleaner takes a lot of effort to clean the surface free of smudges. Note: DO NOT let a pot boil over and let the spillage continue to "cook" - it takes a long time to clean up and leaves stains on the (aluminum) flame cover.
